Drawing inspiration from Henry Purcell’s famous secular and sacred songs, hymns and dances, jazz ensemble L’Arpeggiata will take you back to seventeenth-century London with a programme that fuses the theatre and court music of the time with the improvisatory arts of jazz. 

Christina Pluhar leads this ensemble of outstanding musicians through a wholesale rethinking of a timeless repertoire, providing the audience with a new perspective on ‘early music’.
