A star of Japan’s bossa nova community, Lisa has recorded a vast array of renowned albums throughout her career, including 1999’s Dream, released in 1999 which has sold more than 200,000 copies in Japan.

Lisa Ono spent her childhood in Brazil,  singing and learning to play the guitar when she was 15, and debuting as a professional bossa nova singer in 1989.

Since then, Lisa has performed with many great artists including the legendary Antonio Carlos Jobim and jazz samba giant Joao Donato, in front of  audiences in New York, Brazil and across Asia.
