Auckland’s orchestra invites its furry friends from hit children’s TV show The Moe Show for its first APO 4 Kids concert of 2021. Moe and the whole gang return to the APO to present Britten’s Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra.

Composed specifically for children, the concert will engage and delight your pre-schoolers. From the big, shiny instruments to the tall, skinny, whistley-ones, to the funny little dances that conductors have to do at the podium! There’s a lot to learn, and even more fun to be had!

Kicking it all off, kids are encouraged to join a special Show and Tell in the foyer, where musicians will be performing and showing off their instruments 45-minutes before the concert. Kids are encouraged to watch, listen, and even have a go at some of the instruments on display.

And don’t forget the walk-through of the orchestra as the musicians play the final pieces of the day.
