MOZART Bassoon Concerto in B flat major, K. 191
BEETHOVEN Symphony No. 8 in F major, Op. 93

Mozart’s captivating Bassoon Concerto is the most famous written for the instrument and one that requires dexterity and precision. NZSO Section Principal Bassoon Robert Weeks will bring this great work to life.

Beethoven’s Symphony No. 8 is his most joyous symphony. Even though it was written when the composer was already profoundly deaf, it is intensely moving, uplifting and unforgettable.

Miguel Harth-Bedoya continues to introduce his Peruvian culture and heritage to New Zealand audiences with Jimmy Lopez’s Fiesta! – following the performance of Lopez’s Perú Negro in 2015.
