PFORM.NZ presents SZN

No longer available

Bruce Mason Centre

Family & Kids

UPDATE 14 Mar 2022: This event is cancelled.

A message from Pform.nz:

Due to the current and ongoing restrictions placed on us by the government, we are unable to run the big show at the Bruce Mason Theatre in April. We are determined that our performers still get to experience the celebration of a show so instead we will be moving to our Red Level model at a smaller venue.

Your ticket will be refunded and you will receive notification from Pform.nz regarding the new show details. Please contact info@pform.nz with any queries.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility during this very difficult time.

Pform.nz’s students present the first four shows in their show season, aptly named SZN. For many of the students in these shows, this will be their first big-stage experience. They feature Drama, Dance, and Musical Theatre - every show promotes a fresh new cast from predominantly North and West Auckland venues including  Browns Bay | Birkenhead | Howick College | Hobsonville | Murrays Bay | Milford | Freemans Bay | Stanmore Bay | TAPAC |Wentworth | Wainui | Silverdale | Meadowbank | Pinehill | Orewa | Pinehurst | Remuera | Campbells Bay | Mt Eden | Henderson | Birkenhead | Huapai | Glenfield |Westmere | Parnell | Ponsonby | Swanson | Te Atatu | Red Beach | Edendale | Albany Junior High | Kingsland | Carmel College

Performers range from 4 years old to young teenagers. Each class will showcase their work, creating a variety-show feel to SZN.

Parents have not been asked to create or buy costumes or to help backstage. The Bruce Mason Centre provides a professional theatrical environment; drinks and snacks are available in the spacious foyer before each show, seats are numbered, ushers are on hand to assist. Each show will be professionally photographed, and caregivers are encouraged to film their child's performance. Stage lighting and sudden amplified noise and applause will unsettle babies and infants, it is inappropriate to bring them. A disruption in the audience makes it difficult for young performers to focus; when they ‘break the fourth wall’ they lose confidence. Please support your young performers-  it’s their time to excel and to shine!
