The New Classics Sinfonia, led by Artistic Director and Conductor Robert Liu is proud to present its fourth concert, 'Portraits of Europe', this August in the Concert Chamber of the Auckland Town Hall.
In keeping with its title, the concert will feature a selection of works by composers of different European countries (France, Scotland, Germany and Spain) and across different musical epochs from the Classical through to the Modern Era. This concert will also feature soloist, Lora Kurusa, on classical guitar for the Rodrigo Concerto; a seldom performed work that is sure to entice listeners old and new alike.
As a relatively new orchestra to the Auckland Scene, the NCS is glad to be making its Concert Chamber debut and thanks Auckland Live for its support in making this concert happen
