The New Zealand String Quartet is joined by Grammy-nominated American violist James Dunham for this special day highlighting masterpieces from Brahms and Mozart.
They are performing two concerts, at 3pm and 7.30pm, each featuring one of the Brahms Quintets paired with one of the great Mozart Quintets. The evening concert will also premiere a new work by young New Zealand composer, Salina Fisher.
The festival includes an additional 11am concert performed by the Pettman Players, a group of aspiring young Kiwi musicians, timed perfectly to enjoy with your mid-morning coffee.
