Movie buffs, inspiring documentary makers and everyone in between, get ready for a stellar line-up as we launch our brand-new film programme on the Auckland Live Digital Stage in partnership with the crème de la crème of film and cinema; New Zealand International Film Festival, Doc Edge FestivalScreenies and Show Me Shorts Film Festival.

Every Thursday night there will be screenings of a selection of cinematic classics and the latest short films including the likes of Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Wings of Desire, and Poi E and many more. And don’t worry, we’ve got the kiddies covered too as come January three very special movies, The GruffaloThe Gruffalo’s Child and the classic series from 1994, The Magical World of Margaret Mahy will be gracing our screen on selected Sunday mornings.

Then to make your relaxin’ Sunday arvos become that little bit sweeter, we’ll be screening a drool-inducing line-up of documentary greats including Hip Hop-eration, Dancing in Jaffa and China Love

We’re chuffed to be a part of Tāmaki Makaurau’s outdoor cinema line-up this summer in Aotea Square, so grab the whānau, picnic rug and ready, set, action!
