Following their 2012 tour for Chamber Music New Zealand, the Takács Quartet make an eagerly anticipated return for just two concerts – an undeniable season highlight for 2017.
Without doubt one of the greatest string quartets in the world, we welcome the return of the Takács Quartet. Widely considered chamber music royalty, the quartet’s repertoire spans three centuries of masterpieces, as well as more contemporary compositions, all delivered with delicate artistry and technical excellence.

Finding childcare isn’t always easy – or cheap! The Chamber Music Babysitting Club has been created to ensure that people who love music can still come to concerts, even when they have the added expense of a babysitter.
Join the Babysitting Club Facebook group and whenever you buy a ticket to a Chamber Music New Zealand Kaleidoscope Series concert and book a babysitter for the evening, you will receive a second ticket free.
