Step inside a world where ideas aren’t just for thinking – they’re for living, breathing, dancing, and making. The Imaginarium is a one-day creative explosion for tamariki and rangatahi to explore, create, and play in a vibrant celebration of the senses.

Explore our sensory discovery space, a whimsical world filled with textures, sounds, lights, and scents designed to awaken your senses and transport you into the heart of a creative wonderland. Enter our sensory storytelling sessions, where tales unfold not just through words, but through touch, taste, sound, and movement – inviting every participant to become part of the story.

Take part in accessible music making workshops that bring imaginative soundscapes to life, or join an exploratory dance session, where every movement expresses the creativity inside you. Our visual arts workshops invite you to bring your inner world to life through colour, collage, and self-expression.

Whether you’re leaping through clouds, painting possibilities, or dancing with ideas, The Imaginarium is a place where fantasy and reality blur – and anything is possible.

Open to all, this is a playful and welcoming day for Disabled and non-disabled young people alike. Our experienced team of artists and support crew will guide you through a series of hands-on, inclusive workshops that celebrate individuality, imagination, and joy.

Bring your ideas – we’ll help you build them.

About Glass Ceiling Arts Collective

Glass Ceiling Arts Collective is an Arts charity; it’s a community who believe that young people with disabilities should not be defined by their disability but, rather, they should be afforded the opportunity to enjoy the performing arts alongside their nondisabled peers. The benefits for the young person with a disability are untold. Similarly, the benefits for young people without disabilities, and indeed the whole of society, are untold too.
