Organist Tom Chatterton is one of New Zealand’s most promising young musicians. Since moving here from the UK he’s been in demand as a soloist and accompanist. Tom has performed at many prestigious venues across the globe, including Notre Dame Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and St Thomas’ Fifth Avenue in New York.
This exciting concert will include music by Bach, Widor, and Elgar’s beautiful and well known Nimrod as well as the composer's Imperial March and the showy finale of Widor's sixth organ symphony. To add to the experience, you will be able to watch Tom’s hands and feet on the large screens to the sides of the organ.
