Experience the bright future of classical music unfold at the Wallace National Piano Competition GRAND FINAL.
This biennial competition has successfully launched the careers of young Kiwi artists such as Jason Bae, 2013 winner and Official Steinway Artist.
After two intensive days of preliminary rounds at the University of Auckland’s School of Music, only four pianists progress onto the Grand Final at the Auckland Town Hall, for prizes totaling over $20,000.
Each finalist performs a 45-minute recital and the event concludes with the prize ceremony.
