Mighty
Tuesday 5 May - Sunday 17 May | Te Komititanga
In celebration of NZ Music Month, Mighty once again pops up in the heart of the city, hosting some of Aotearoa’s most beloved and exciting artists.
Each performance invites just 6 - 8 people inside for a single song, played live and acoustic. No microphones. No production. Just artist and audience, sharing a moment.
Mighty by Night
Thursday 7 – Tuesday 19 May | Te Komititanga
A large-scale projection lights up the Waitematā Station building each night, showcasing the words of Aotearoa songwriters. Featuring a selection of lyrics from Mighty artists, the work uses projection mapping to animate the building’s façade, bringing these songs into the heart of the city.
Visible nightly in Te Komititanga, the activation extends the Mighty experience beyond the venue, inviting passersby to encounter the music from Aotearoa in an unexpected way. Visit Te Komititanga after dark to see lyrics from some of Aotearoa’s most exciting artists brought to life, including The Beths, Geneva AM, LEAO, Rewind Fields, Hun Lynch and Reb Fountain.
