Aladdin will be an NZSL interpreted show. During the performance, two trained interpreters, situated on the left hand side of the stage, will interpret the script using New Zealand Sign Language.
Introductory notes for attendees in Sign Language will be given at 6.30pm in the Safari Room.
Seats are allocated for patrons wishing to attend the Sign Language Interpreted performance, with a clear view of the stage and the interpreter.

The Sign Language Interpreted ticket allocations will be available until 5pm on the 17 January 2019 or until the allocation is exhausted.
This performance gives blind or visually impaired patrons the opportunity to attend Aladdin, with trained audio describers broadcasting live commentary during the show, which patrons will hear through an earpiece.
A complimentary Touch Tour will also be held before the show where patrons can walk through the set, touch set pieces, feel costumes and handle key props. This will take place from 5:30pm – 6:15pm. Meet in The Civic theatre stalls bar area.
There are seats reserved for Audio Described patrons. Guide dogs are welcome, but please notify staff upon booking your ticket. When booking, please ensure that you tell staff how many headsets you will need, if you plan on attending the complimentary Touch Tour before the show, and if you are bringing a guide dog. Tickets and headsets can be collected from The Civic theatre bar area (stalls foyer) prior to the show.
