Show description

After three sold-out, wildly well-received events, Night Mayors return for an extra special fourth edition.

The series has quickly become one of Tāmaki Makaurau’s most exciting cultural forums, bringing together the voices shaping the city’s creative identity. We hear from cultural icons about their everyday lives, their biggest gripes, their boldest ideas for Tāmaki Makaurau — and what their platform would be if they ran for Mayor.

Night Mayors Volume 4 is immersed in DARKLIGHT: The Hidden World, the indoor lighting exhibition designed to spark curiosity, wonder, and discovery for all ages.

Experience a special session inside the exhibition, featuring panellists discussing how to survive and thrive as an artist in Tāmaki Makaurau with host Charlotte Ryan (radio broadcaster and music journalist).

Your ticket includes exclusive nighttime access to the full DARKLIGHT: The Hidden World experience, and a musical performance.

Night Mayors is brought to you by Liz Allen and Charlotte Billing from Place Creative, Christy Tennent from Open Coffee, November Studio's Maddy Budd, Natasha Mead from 1 of 1 Studio and broadcaster and journalist Charlotte Ryan, with support from Auckland by Night.
