A Vintage Cabaret Cinema celebrates the nostalgia of Auckland’s beautiful atmospheric theatre, screening classic cabaret and musical film titles including 1968 hit, Funny Girl.
A major critical success, Funny Girl is the story of the life of comedienne and entertainer, Fanny Brice, from her early days in the Jewish slums of New York's Lower East Side, to the height of her career with the Ziegfeld Follies. Nominated for eight Academy Awards, Funny Girl is an iconic, bitter-sweet classical musical drama. Starring Barbara Streisand.
