UPDATE 24 Jan 2022: Auckland Live, our partners and artists involved in Auckland Live Summer in the Square regret to announce that due to New Zealand being in Covid-19 Red Traffic Light setting indefinitely, all events scheduled from Friday 28 January - 26 February will not be going ahead. Due to the nature of the events planned and difficulty safely distancing or capping audience numbers in Aotea Square, the events are now postponed until further notice. The welfare and safety of our artists, staff and audiences will remain our first priority.

Get ready for Auckland Pride Festival’s annual epic takeover of Aotea Square.
See some of Aotearoa’s finest queer artists in a weekend packed full of celebratory pride. On Friday night, we warm up with a Pride-curated programme, leading us into the Pride party takeover on Saturday night.
Pride party performances will sprawl across two stages, with food trucks a-plenty and the pop-up garden bar to keep you watered throughout the day. When the sun goes down, grab a drink and party the night away with an amazing line-up of DJs, drag performances and musicians.
